Old Friends

As we grow old, each of us have our own problems and concerns to think. Which means less hours to spend with our friends, old and new. 

Most of my college friends are now based overseas. And I really appreciate them messaging me if I could meet them over coffee and catch up. Speaking of, had a catch up with mother dear Portia, who is now based in Derbyshire, UK with her gorgeous husband, Glen and their 2 beautiful daughters, Gabbie and Ella.  Her sisters Din (who is based in Doha) and Loreen (based in Iloilo) also joined us and we had a blast!

Lull at Work

I am in the phase that I am not really productive at work.  

I am too lazy to work on my backlogs and all I want to do is to watch movies on Apple TV or Disney Plus or Netflix or just do nothing.

or am I depressed?

Entitled.

 Why do you think there are other people who are entitled?

In my line of work, I have met several people who are entitled. And these people are professionals. Supposedly, they are the ones who should have understand that they have to wait or that there is a lead time for a certain service they are asking.  It really bothers and irritates me. I hope they will realise that it is easy to be KIND and UNDERSTANDING. And by being entitled, they look dumb and crazy. 

I would like to qoute MINDY KALING:

"Entitlement is simply the belief that you deserve something. Which is great.  The hard part is, You'd better make sure you deserve it."

Who is still blogging?

 Hello World!

It's been 3 years since I started this blog.  A lot has happened since 2020, personally and of course with our society.  

I actually continued my YouTube channel (contrary to what I said in my first post), and actually enjoyed it, for the first few uploads. I realized, vlogging is really a JOB.  You need to put out a good content. And involves a lot of planning and brainstorming. With a 9-5 job, I can't.  So I stopped uploading when I went back home after I was stucked in Iloilo City. 

I stayed in my apartment in Iloilo City from February - November 2020.  In those 8 months, there are a lot of changes. To cut the story short, I resigned from my job and started my own business, GST International Education and Visa Consultancy in General Santos City. I currently have one branch in Iloilo City. Well, I can say that we're doing okay, steady clients.  The way I want it to be. Not to grow so fast, you know, we're just here. 

What made me make an entry again? Well, I saw the instagram of Seph Cham and he is still blogging dude. So, I was encouraged again to blog. This is easier than vlogging.  Well, if you're after the money, then I think you cannot find in blogging. 

But that is not my main goal why I am doing this. I just want a platform to express myself, without even thinking so much or putting so much time to have an entry. 

So I guess, I will definitely see you next time!
